Craniosacrale Behandlung

CS Therapy

Craniosacral Therapy (CST) is a soothing non-invasive hands-on therapy. It aims to help create an open heart, a clear mind and a free body. CST comes out of osteopathy. It uses a gentle touch to balance the flow of the cerebrospinal fluid. Little known by most, this fluid travels between the head (cranium) and the lower spine (sacrum) in a slow tide-like movement.

This rhythm is our inner riverbed.
In it we feel at home, in tune with ourselves.

Craniosacral touch helps to reconnect to this inner „wave“ to initiate a process of healing. It releases deeper tensions in the body, bringing back the flow & relieving blocked energy, pain and dysfunction.

Craniosacral Treatment

A craniosacral session lasts about 90 minutes. It is important to allow for time and quiet. CS work is all about slowing down, relaxing and unwinding on a deeper level. After a short talk you lie down fully dressed. Helped by blankets and cushions, you are made to feel fully comfortable.

Most of the session happens in great stillness. In silence, we are invited to listen to the ‘whisper of the heart’. Craniosacral therapy is not about ‘doing’ or manipulating. Instead, the therapist feels/follows the intrinsic rhythm of the cranial wave with gentle, loving and ‘knowing’ hands. It is a journey to allow for flow and connectedness to release the body’s self-healing impulses.
